Black Lives Matter San Antonio August 31, 2016 City Hall Protest

On August 31 the San Antonio Black Lives Matter Chapter organized a protest on the steps of City Hall prior to the City Council meeting in order to address concerns about the pending San Antonio Police Department contract and calling for revisions that will ensure greater departmental accountability when wrongful police action occurs. Following the City Hall protest individuals spoke before City Council about the need to reject the police contract as presently written.
